1 in 5 Adults Think Their Diet Has Nothing to Do With Their Heart
If you are an avid runner, you may believe your heart is in perfect shape.
But think again. It is not just exercise that impacts your heart, it is the foods we put in our bodies that can also have an impact. This is a common misconception, where in a survey of more than 1,000 men and women, nearly 20 percent believe diet has nothing to do with heart health. Maintaining a healthy body weight through a balanced diet incorporating lots of plants, as well as regular exercise, is the winning combination to help prevent heart disease. More on this survey and other common misconceptions are over at Runner’s World.
