Early Signs of Diabetes
While more than 7 million adults in the U.S. have diabetes, nearly one in four don’t actually know they have the disease, according to a recent report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
There are two types of diabetes – type 1 is an autoimmune condition and type 2 is generally associated with obesity and excessive weight – but no matter the type, it is important to recognize the early signs and symptoms. You may experience numbness in the hands and feet, frequent urination, changes in weight and fatigue after meals if you have diabetes (just to name a few).
