Low Awareness of Heart Risks, Heart Health Among Young Women
Despite it being the top cause of death for women in the U.S., young women are largely unaware of the risks they face when it comes to cardiovascular disease, according to a recent report.
In fact, only 1 in 10 young women surveyed cited heart disease as the number one killer for women, and fewer than 1 in 20 participants believed it was the leading health problem for women. This is just one more reason to better understand your heart health and help aid in preventing cardiovascular issues later on in life. For more on this report, head over to Reuters.
