The goal of World Hypertension Day, driven by the theme of Know Your Numbers, is to increase high blood pressure awareness in all populations around the world. World Hypertension Day helps to shine light on the growing prevalence and associated risk factors of high blood pressure in the United States, aiming to bring awareness to the 1 in 5 U.S. adults with high blood pressure who do not know they have it .
