Recover from your sugar hangover.
When you overdo it on the holiday sweets — candy, pie, cake — it can make you feeling sluggish and guilty. This is normal for this time of year, when sweets are everywhere, but it’s important to give your body the time and space it needs to recover.
Make sure you are eating adequate meals and snacks throughout the day, drinking plenty of water in line with your hunger and thirst cues. To overcome the guilt, just let it go, and recognize that you will bounce back.
