Higi's Story

Higi began with a simple idea: being healthy should be simple, fun and rewarding. By making the process convenient and automated, we want to provide the most frictionless method for you to play an active role in your personal health and wellness.

Higi is founded in Chicago, IL.

June 2012
First higi Station arrives as pilot
program launches in Chicago.

Sept 2012
First regional deployment of
higi Stations begins in New Jersey with Wakefern Food Corporation.

March 2013
Higi is officially launched to
the public at SXSWi 2013.

Dec 2013
Higi acquires Earndit to integrate
physical activity tracking, rewards and
challenges into product offering.

Feb 2014
National partnership with Rite Aid
announced. 4,000+ higi Stations
to be deployed to Rite Aid stores.

Aug 2014
Higi and Stayhealthy combine to create the largest connected retail health kiosk network.
