Join the Nation of Lifesavers™ This American Heart Month
From The American Heart Association
Every year, over 350,000 cardiac arrests occur outside hospitals in the U.S., with nearly 90% proving fatal. Alarmingly, most happen at home, affecting loved ones. This February, the American Heart Association invites everyone to fight against sudden cardiac arrest by learning CPR and becoming part of the Nation of Lifesavers™.
From infants to adults, cardiac emergencies can strike anyone. Lifesaving CPR can double or triple survival chances. To support families and communities, the American Heart Association offers resources like the Infant and Child CPR Anytime® kit and an engaging instructional video. These tools make learning lifesaving skills easier and more accessible than ever.
Four simple ways to get involved:
Watch Online – Learn Hands-Only CPR basics and share awareness using #NationofLifesavers.
Learn at Home – Use CPR Anytime® kits for self-paced training.
Take a Course – Organize group sessions to master CPR, first aid, and AED use.
Turn Workplaces into Lifesaving Hubs – Commit to employee CPR training and activate workplace emergency plans.
